Abstract: A portable computer having a main board; an antenna receiving and transmitting an RF signal; a PCI slot part provided in the main board and receiving the RF signal received and transmitted through the antenna; a wireless LAN card including a main card removably inserted into the PCI slot part, and an RF connector provided at a side of the main card and through which the RF signal is inputted/outputted between the antenna and the PCI slot part; and an antenna connecting part connected to the RF connector and allowing the RF signal to be inputted/outputted through the RF connector between the antenna and the PCI slot part when the wireless LAN card is inserted into the PCI slot part. With this configuration, the present invention provides a portable computer improved in a mounting structure of a wireless LAN card doing not have an antenna.

Abstract: A portable computer including a computer body having a main board and a display apparatus rotatably installed on the computer body. The portable computer also includes a radio communication module provided in a part of the main board formed with a through hole for radio communication and a radio antenna provided in the display apparatus that sends and receives electric waves transmitted to and from the radio communication module. A connector, coupled to the through hole, has a first connection part and a second connection part, wherein a cable member connected to the radio antenna may be detachably connected to the connector and a cable member connected to the radio communication module is also detachably connected to the connector. With this configuration, a radio antenna provided in a display apparatus and a radio communication module on the main board can be connected simply and easily.

Abstract: A mobile computer includes an external antenna which is able to wirelessly communicate data with peripheral devices. The mobile computer includes a main body, a display portion connected with the main body, a wireless communication module disposed in the main body, an antenna for transmitting and receiving data from the wireless communication module, contact means for connecting electrically the antenna with the wireless communication module, and mounting means for mounting the antenna on the display portion.
