    Abstract: The present invention includes (a) dividing the reservoir in a coalbed methane (CBM) development area through computer modeling and thereby forming a three-dimensional grids having a plurality of cell, (b) actually forming drilling holes in the development area and thereby obtaining core samples for each depth, (c) modeling the amounts of ash, water, and gas in each of the cells, (d) modeling the pressure change over time in each of the cells under a premise in which a production well is formed in the grids, and (e) performing a Langmuir experiment for the core samples, determining a Langmuir function for a maximum amount of gas adsorption with pressure and amounts of ash and water as variables, and applying the Langmuir function to each of the cells to calculate an amount of gas detected due to pressure change over time.

    Abstract: A 2 stage rotary compressor is provided that includes a hermetic container that defines an outward appearance of the compressor; a 2 stage compression assembly provided in the hermetic container, wherein a low pressure cylinder, a middle plate, and a high pressure cylinder are successively stacked from any one of upper and lower portions; and first discharge port that discharges refrigerant compressed in the low pressure cylinder, and having an inner volume equivalent to 0.5% to 2.5% of an inner volume of the low pressure cylinder. A valve is installed on or under the discharge port. When the valve is opened, compressed refrigerant is discharged through the discharge port. When the valve is closed, refrigerant remains in the discharge port as much as the volume of the discharge port. Accordingly, refrigerant remaining in the discharge port is re-expanded in the cylinder, to thereby cause a compression loss.

    Abstract: A negative active material for a secondary battery includes a core carbon material, and a carbide layer formed on at least a portion of an edge of the core carbon material, and has a specific surface area ratio of 1.6 or less and a sphericity ratio of 0.6 or more when the negative active material is compressed with a pressure of 1.3 ton per 1 cm2 for 2 seconds. A secondary battery manufactured using the negative active material can prevent deterioration of characteristics caused by destruction of the carbide layer and deformation of core carbon material that may occur during a compression process performed to manufacture an electrode for the secondary battery. As a result, the secondary battery can be improved in aspect of a discharging capacity, a cycle efficiency and a discharging capacity retention rate at a long cycle.

    Abstract: A variable capacity rotary compressor is provided, in which a vane may be restricted by a pressure difference generated between both side surfaces of the vane when the compressor performs in a saving driving mode. The vane may be restricted quickly and stably by rapidly decreasing a pressure of a vane chamber by leaking a discharge pressure of the vane chamber to an inlet via a low pressure passage and thereby increasing a pressurizing force applied to a side surface of the vane relatively greater than a supporting force applied to a rear surface thereof. In this way, the vane may be prevented from being vibrated due to a weak restriction force of the vane when a power driving mode of the compressor is switched into the saving driving mode, which prevents noise from increasing due to design conditions, thereby enhancing a comfort feeling of a user.
