    Abstract: An on-screen display/video signal processor is disclosed which prevents the output of video signals while generating a fast blanking signal when on-screen display mode selection key is selected by a user. The on-screen display/video signal processor has a video signal muter for removing video signals with an input of the fast blanking signal. The quality of an on-screen display can be increased with a generation of the fast blanking signal and a rapid removal of video signals.
