Based on the APL value, the controller controls the image processor to compensate for a gray scale of the input image to thereby increase a brightness of the input image, and controls the power supply to reduce the power supply corresponding to the brightness increased as a result of the compensated gray scale.

Abstract: A denture forming apparatus for dental use includes clamps for protruding from and retracting to opposing sides in order to clamp or unclamp opposing side portions of the flask, thereby fixing or unfixing the flask; a pressing unit placed above the clamps to charge the resin, contained in a resin-filling pipe, into the flask under a predetermined pressure; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the clamps and controlling the pressing unit to descend at a predetermined rate of descent according to a type of the resin contained in the resin-filling pipe. The denture forming apparatus can be used irrespective of the type of resin since the speed of the pressing unit can be regulated. Accordingly, it is possible to realize an improvement over the conventional art, which can use only a designated type of resin.

Liquid paraffin or Vaseline containing ozone is applied on the human body, or medical equipment to be disinfected is dipped therein. Thus, the disinfection of medical equipment is easily and conveniently achieved. Abstract: In an image processing method for a mobile communication terminal, a threshold value is set in advance for a state of traffic. A processing buffer of a second layer of the mobile terminal then analyzes a current state of traffic and compares it with the pre-set threshold value. If the traffic exceeds the threshold value, resolution of an image input through a camera is reduced, and the resolution-reduced image is transmitted. As a result, a natural looking image can be provided according to the state of traffic and thus reliability of a service quality can be enhanced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing a phenolic polymer using a phenothiazine-based mediator, in particular, to a process for preparing a phenolic polymer via polymerization of phenolic monomers by using a phenothiazine-based mediator in the presence of peroxidase biocatalyst and an oxidant, thereby drastically improving the enzyme reactivity of peroxidase. The phenolic polymers prepared according to the polymerization of this invention maintain unsaturated hydrocarbon groups linked to their side chains, so that they are very useful as a curing resin because they can easily form coatings through radical curing. In addition, the coating formed using the curing resin has an antioxidation effect and a low surface energy, so that they can prevent physical attachment of marine livings. Because the antifouling-causing functional groups are not consumed, the coatings continuously exhibit durability.
