Abstract: A method for allocation of a returning vehicle performed by a call service includes allocating a first call to a vehicle operating a taxi business in a first business zone, receiving rate plan information of a second business zone corresponding to a destination of the first call from a taxi terminal corresponding to the vehicle, determining whether the allocation of the returning vehicle is necessary for the vehicle based on the rate plan information, receiving a signal indicating that the vehicle has arrived at the destination of the first call and a signal indicating that the vehicle has left the first business zone from the taxi terminal, and allocating a second call from a departure location in the second business zone to a destination in the first business zone to the vehicle when it is determined that the allocation of the returning vehicle is necessary for the vehicle.

The system includes an integrated terminal configured to communicate with an operating server that provides a response to a request for a service received from a user terminal through a network. The integrated terminal is configured to determine whether to identify vehicle distribution call information by using an operation state of a vehicle and information acquired by associating a boarding location of a user and heading direction information of the vehicle, calculate an operation fee by using GPS information or wheel speed information of the vehicle, and determine whether an output screen of the vehicle is changed based on gear state information, wheel speed information, or information received from an electronic control unit of the vehicle.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for tagging, indexing, searching, retrieving, manipulating, and editing video images on a wide area network such as the Internet. A first set of methods is provided for enabling users to add bookmarks to multimedia files, such as movies, and audio files, such as music. The multimedia bookmark facilitates the searching of portions or segments of multimedia files, particularly when used in conjunction with a search engine. Additional methods are provided that reformat a video image for use on a variety of devices that have a wide range of resolutions by selecting some material (in the case of smaller resolutions) or more material (in the case of larger resolutions) from the same multimedia file. Still more methods are provided for interrogating images that contain textual information (in graphical form) so that the text may be copied to a tag or bookmark that can itself be indexed and searched to facilitate later retrieval via a search engine.
