    Abstract: An exemplary method for performing fabrication sequence analysis, the method comprising, defining a process group, wherein a process group includes fabrication processes in a fabrication sequence, determining fabrication process paths in the process group to define independent variables, wherein a process path is a plurality of fabrication equipment used to fabricate a particular semiconductor device in the fabrication sequence, receiving a dependent variable for the fabrication sequence, performing analysis of variance to calculate a p-value for the process group, determining whether the p-value is lower than a threshold value, identifying a poor process path responsive to determining that the p-value is lower than a threshold value, and outputting the identified poor process path.

    Abstract: An electromagnet that produces a uniaxial magnetic field for magnetically orienting thin films on a substrate in a low-pressure processing environment is arranged with a plate-shaped core having a circular periphery and an electromagnetic coil having windings that are arranged in a pattern across a front side of the core for reducing skew of the uniaxial magnetic field. The individual windings include lengths divided in different proportions between straight center sections and two bent end sections. The straight sections of the windings, which extend normal to a winding axis, incrementally decrease in length from the center towards the periphery of the core along the winding axis. Spacing between adjacent center sections of the windings is greater than a spacing between adjacent end sections of the front winding portions along the core periphery. The end sections are increasingly bent at the core periphery as a function of cumulative differences in spacing between the center and end sections.

    Abstract: A video apparatus comprises both a video cassette recorder for recording or reproducing a video signal from an external source and a game signal processing part for executing a game program. A remote-controlled transmitter transmits a signal to a remote-controlled receiver. A decoder decodes the signal and a microprocessor selects either game mode or VCR mode which is output via a RF modulator to a video screen. At least one encoder and processor is provided which enables the system to process game signals and output the video signal in game mode to the video screen.

    Abstract: A thermal refiningless, hot-rolled steel exhibits impact strength in excess of 10kgf.multidot.m/cm.sup.2 and contains, expressed in terms of weight percent, 0.30-0.50% carbon, 0.15-0.60% silicon, 0.80-1.60% manganese, up to 0.02% phosphorus, up to 0.015% sulfur, 0.07-0.20% vanadium, 0.015-0.06% aluminum, 0.005-0.015% nitrogen, up to 0.0015% oxygen, the balance iron and unavoidable impurities. The steel of the above-identified property and composition is produced by casting a steel product of predetermined cross-sectional shape; heating the steel product up to a temperature of 1,100.degree.-1,250.degree. C.; hot-rolling the heated steel product at a final rolling temperature of 850.degree.1,000.degree. C.; normalizing the hot-rolled steel product at a temperature of 880.degree.-950.degree. C.; and cooling the normalized steel product down to 300.degree. C. at a cooling speed of 5.degree.-100.degree. C./min.
