  • Patent number: 10868692
Abstract: The disclosure is related to monitoring a legacy device using at least one smart device. A gateway of an automation system may monitor an operation status of a target legacy device located in a service area of an automation system using at least one of smart devices participating in the automation system. In order to monitor, a monitoring request may be received for monitoring the target legacy device from user equipment associated with a user. At least one of monitoring smart devices may be controlled for monitoring the target legacy device. Monitoring results may be received from the at least one of monitoring smart devices. The received monitoring results may be provided to the user through the user equipment using at least one of outputting monitoring smart devices.

  • Patent number: 10169026
Abstract: The disclosure is related to providing an operation environment of a registered network having first devices to a user in an unregistered network having second devices. In order to provide, the second devices in the unregistered network may be detected when user equipment associated with the user enters a service area of the unregistered network. As compatible devices, devices compatible with the first devices in the registered network may be selected from the detected second devices. Then, system images of the first devices compatible with the selected compatible devices may be obtained. The obtained system images of the first devices may be installed at the selected compatible devices, respectively.

  • Patent number: 9215551
Abstract: The disclosure is related to managing resources in an M2M network. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to performing a resource management by using a substitute resource in place of a failure resource in an M2M network. More specifically, in the case that a failure occurs in a specific resource associated with a request message, the present embodiment may select a substitute resource using a correlation between resources, and transfer the request message to the selected substitute resource. Herein, the resource management may be performed by a virtual service capability layer (SCL).
