The contribution amount is collected from the wager and added to the progressive jackpot. A gaming method using the gaming apparatus is also disclosed.

A controller causes the positioning mechanism to transfer the selected prize object from the prize object holder to the rotatable display element. In one embodiment, the cavity of the rotatable display element may include a plurality of barrier elements which at least partially impede movement of a selected prize object disposed within the rotatable display element. A method of playing a game using the aforementioned apparatus is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A gaming device may comprise a display for displaying a game outcome. The display may depict a plurality of three-dimensional display objects, such as cubes, each having a number of display faces bearing gaming symbols. The game may comprise a number of turns. For each turn, the display objects are reoriented, for example by rotating the display objects about at least two axes, to display a set of surfaces of the display objects, e.g. the forward facing surfaces. Winning outcomes can be formed by matching symbols on adjacent display objects. The process of reorientation and display may continue for the number of turns of the game. Display surfaces that have been displayed in a turn may be indicated as ineligible for subsequent turns. The display objects can be transparent or translucent so that a player can see all gaming symbols on the display object.

A changeable prize display closest to the moveable indicator can display the randomly selected prize.

    Abstract: In a gaming apparatus, a player places a wager and plays a game. A game controller determines an outcome for the game and controls a display to represent the game outcome. If the game outcome is a winning game outcome, the game controller controls the display to display a plurality of symbols in a plurality of spaces on a game board. Primary winning combinations are indicated and corresponding prizes are awarded before clearing those symbols from the game board. The remaining symbols are then redistributed and prizes for any secondary winning combinations may be indicated and awarded. The process of clearing the symbols, redistributing and determining winning combinations may continue for a predetermined number of redistributions, until all the symbols have been cleared, or until no more winning combinations are formed.
