Abstract: An interactive user interface is operable to present screens to a user to facilitate creating or modifying an electronic document that comprises one or more content pages and an application page that includes an integrated software application related to content of the content page. The interactive user interface includes a content screen through which the user enters content for each content page of the document, and an application screen through which the user enters information related to the application page. The application screen is operable to provide a first view for the user to enter information specifying one or more of layout, input control, report control or plot control for a graphical user interface, and a second view for the user to enter core programming code for the software application.
