An information handling system includes a first port for receiving first analog video signals and embedded control logic operably coupled to the first port. The embedded control logic selects either the first analog video signals received by the first port or second analog video signals generated by the information handling system. A second port operably coupled to the embedded control logic transmits at least one of the first and second analog video signals to a master controller operably coupled to the information handling system.

    Abstract: A system and method for scaling a bus based on a location of a device on the bus are disclosed. An information handling system includes a host bridge interfaced between a local bus and a peripheral bus operable to run at a plurality of bus speeds generated by the host bridge. A plurality of expansion slots are coupled to the peripheral bus and a bus switch is coupled to the peripheral bus between at least two of the expansion slots. Control logic is interfaced with the host bridge and the expansion slots. The control logic is operable to enable at least one of the expansion slots based on a signal received from each of the expansion slots by manipulating the bus switches.

More than one heat generating module is positioned on a first side of the midplane and more than one adjustable airflow generating component is positioned on a second side of the midplane to generate an airflow through each opening. A controller is coupled to determine an output for adjusting each airflow generating component in response to the temperature sensed by each sensor.
