  • Patent number: 9545988
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon a plurality of computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to: receive a range of headings at a marine electronics device and analyze sonar data received from a sonar device coupled to a vessel to determine a first characteristic measured at a first location. The first characteristic may be a bottom hardness, a bottom composition, a transition between bottom compositions, a water temperature, or a thermocline. The instructions may further cause the computer to: compare the first characteristic to a second characteristic measured at a second location and transmit instructions to an autopilot to move the vessel in a heading in the range of headings. The instructions are based at least in part on the comparison between the first characteristic and the second characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20160325814
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a trolling device having a motor with a propeller coupled to the motor and a shaft configured to couple or mount the motor to a watercraft. The trolling device may include a housing encapsulating the motor and the housing may include a nosecone. A sonar transducer assembly may be incorporated within the housing or nosecone including a phased array configured to transmit sonar beams into an underwater environment.

  • Patent number: 9442956
Abstract: Described herein are implementations of various technologies for a method. The method may receive a request to record images. The method may send a trigger to a marine electronics device in response to receiving the request to record images. The method may receive navigational data regarding a location of the marine electronics device. The method may generate a waypoint based on the navigational data in response to the trigger.

  • Publication number: 20160245915
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a system having forward and rear scanning sonar. The system may include a fore facing transducer configured to provide forward scanning sonar data below a surface of a body of water and corresponding to a bow of a vessel. The system may include an aft facing transducer configured to provide rear scanning sonar data below the surface of the body of water and corresponding to a stern of the vessel.

  • Publication number: 20160125044
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, may cause the computer to receive a number of display fields. The computer may retrieve a list of data types that correspond to marine electronics. The computer may also fill the number of display fields on a display with data corresponding to the list of data types. Data may only displayed if a sensor transmitting the data is detected on a network.

  • Publication number: 20160121990
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, may cause the computer to display a first page having a first set of marine vessel data. The first set of marine vessel data includes a full size tachometer. The computer may receive a request to display a second page. The computer may also display a second page having a second set of marine vessel data. The second set of marine vessel data includes a reduced size tachometer.
