Abstract: This invention relates to new transition metal catalyst compounds represented by the formula (I): where: M and M? are, independently, a group 8, 9, 10 or 11 transition metal, preferably Ni, Co, Pd, Cu or Fe; each R group is, independently, is, hydrogen, or a hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl, halocarbyl, substituted halocarbyl, silylcarbyl, substituted silylcarbyl, germylcarbyl, or substituted germylcarbyl substituents, and optionally, adjacent R groups may join together to form a substituted or unsubstituted, saturated, partially unsaturated, or aromatic cyclic or polycyclic substituent; R? is hydrogen, or a hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl, halocarbyl, substituted halocarbyl, silylcarbyl, substituted silylcarbyl, germylcarbyl, or substituted germylcarbyl substituents, and optionally, adjacent R groups may join together with R? to form a substituted or unsubstituted, saturated, partially unsaturated, or aromatic cyclic or polycyclic substituent; each X group is, independently, is, hydrogen, a halo
