Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a, preferably single-phase, heat transfer composition, comprising at least one aromatic synthetic dielectric fluid chosen from alkylbenzenes, alkyldiphenylethanes, alkylnaphthalenes, methylpolyarylmethanes, and mixtures thereof, for regulating the temperature of a battery. The present invention also relates to a battery comprising such a heat transfer composition.
