Abstract: A reporting method including receiving, at a server, target authority information, said target authority information including identifying information and contact information related to a target. Also receiving at the server, a media information, such as a picture or audio recording that includes location information generally identifying the location the media represents. The server may then analyze the media information to identify target information. The analysis may identify the object or the absence of an object or other characteristics including but not limited to inventory. Operations further compare the target information to the target authority information, and transmit target information to the target authority using the contact information.

Abstract: Conducting payment transactions at merchant locations away from direct interaction with a point-of-sale system. These embodiments may include a physical remote device (PRD) supplied to interact with a customer's mobile device by collecting transaction information through printer interactions and wirelessly coupling that information to a mobile device in response to interactions with the physical remote device thus allowing a remote host system to coordinate with a merchants existing point-of-sale payment system. Certain embodiments may include a processor-based PRD and instructions for controlling a communications port using either USB or Bluetooth and short-range wireless communications system such as Bluetooth low energy (BLE) or near field communication (NFC).
