  • Patent number: 9894433
Abstract: A speaker driver assembly for use in a speaker system is provided. The speaker driver assembly includes at least one centrally located high frequency sound driver and at least one mid-range frequency sound driver located to either side of the high frequency sound driver. A waveguide wall in the front of the speaker driver assembly directs the high frequency sound waves outwards from a centrally located opening. The waveguide wall has a plurality of small apertures in front of each mid-range frequency driver that are angled outwardly to allow mid-range sound waves to pass through the apertures while minimizing diffraction of high frequency sound waves passing by the apertures in order to generate a coherent sound wave front.

  • Patent number: 9033098
Abstract: The invention relates to a loudspeaker mounting and adjustment system and method for installing and operating a professional audio system used in a stadium, concert hall or the like. The system comprises a vertical array of loudspeaker cabinets that can be suspended from a ceiling and that enables the horizontal and vertical angle of the sound dispersion field to be adjusted remotely and/or automatically while the system is suspended. Each loudspeaker cabinet is connected to a vertically adjacent loudspeaker cabinet via a pair of levers located on either side of the cabinet that control the angle between adjacent loudspeaker cabinets. A linear actuator is connected to each lever for controlling the lever position. Each loudspeaker cabinet also comprises a waveguide with at least one actuator for modifying the waveguide angle and thus the horizontal angle of the sound dispersion field.

  • Patent number: 7744178
Abstract: A racking system for storing equipment in a rack includes a rail that is configured to be attached to the rack and a housing that receives the equipment. One of the housing and rail includes a catch, and the other of the housing and the rail includes a slot for engaging the catch. The catch is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the catch engages the slot and extends away from a surface of either the housing and the rail, and in the second position, the catch is withdrawn from engaging the slot. The catch rotates upon moving between the first position and the second position, and the catch is biased towards the first position.

  • Patent number: 7654398
Abstract: A cable management system includes an adjustable length arm adapted to receive at least one cable in a computer system, and the adjustable length arm is configured to be connected to a first hinge and a second hinge that respectively define first and second opposite ends of the adjustable length arm. The first hinge is connected to a portion of the computing system, and the at least one cable and second hinge are connected to a movable device that moves relative to the portion of the computing system.
