  • Publication number: 20060202007
Abstract: A tray comprising a cover comprising a planar rectangular panel having a flap on each edge. The cover can also include a gusset coupling at least one flap to an adjacent flap. There can also be at least one tab coupled to at least one flap and an insert comprising a planar rectangular base which is substantially the same size as the planar rectangular panel. There can also be a plurality of flaps coupled to the base with at least one flap coupled to each edge of the base. In addition, there can be at least one additional cover, comprising a planar rectangle, wherein in use, the first cover is wrapped around the insert to form a full cover over the insert while the additional cover is wrapped around the cover to cover over an opening tray section, to form a substantially closed box.

  • Patent number: 7044359
Abstract: The invention relates to a cover, an insert and a floor, and a method for manufacturing a tray therefrom. The cover comprises a planar rectangular panel with a flap on each edge, a portion of each flap being connected to an adjacent flap with a gusset, each flap having a tab at the free edge thereof, wherein the floor comprising a planar rectangle which is substantially the same size as the panel, and wherein the insert comprising a planar rectangular base which is substantially the same size as the panel, the base having a wall portion on each edge, each flap being substantially twice the size of each wall portion, wherein in use the base is aligned with the panel, the wall portions are upright, the flaps extend around the respective wall portions and the tabs are folded onto the base, the floor being aligned with the base and the panel, and being bonded to the tabs. A tray so arranged is less expensive and stronger than prior art trays.

  • Patent number: 6923327
Abstract: An integrally injection molded container for merchandise, preferably bottles. The container has two shaped halves that are connected to each other by a living hinge. A closure fastener is disposed at an end of each half that is opposite the living hinge. The closure fastener secures the two shaped halves in a closed position along their outer rims. When in the closed position, an enclosed internal space is defined between the two halves. There is a set of upstanding walls disposed on an inner surface of one of the identical halves. These walls are molded to receive a bottle. Gripping projections are disposed at the ends of the upstanding walls. These gripping projections curve inwardly toward the area where the bottle is held. When the bottle is placed in this area it is releasably secured in place, preventing it from falling out of the container when the molded shaped halves are in an open position.

  • Patent number: 6564754
Abstract: A multi-directional, dynamic, and self-equalizing shock-absorbing harness system for small animals. The system has a collar, to which a length of elastic, or shock, cord is attached. The length of shock cord connects to a ring, through which passes a second shock cord that is generally perpendicular to the first shock cord. The second shock cord is attached to a body strap. A standard leash is then attached to the ring. In this way, the system is able to spread the energy of violent pulling on the leash. This energy is absorbed by the shock cords and is dissipated over the animal's body. Moreover, because the system is self-equalizing, it better enables the handler to keep the animal in proper position, making handling the pet easier.

  • Publication number: 20020120492
Abstract: The present invention provides an event revenue management system that calculates event pricing to manage revenue and to maximize profit from the event. In particular, the system uses event parameters, including timing, resource, and discount categories, and initializes forecasting parameters. The system aggregates historical data using the forecasting parameters to generate initial forecast statistics, taking into account the event parameters. It then forecasts demand by updating the initial forecast statistics based on current data and optimizes pricing and availability of the event based on the forecasted demand.
