  • Patent number: 11971619
Abstract: A lighting system and method controls light to prioritize different elements of the beam of light that is output by a fixture. The LCD surface acts as a color occlusion filter that provides pixel level control of the beam of light transmitted by this layer. Internally an LED source is projected perpendicular to concave type reflector which can be moved on one axis and thus zoom to either widen or narrow the light emitted forward as a beam of light. The system also includes certain cooling features.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 30, 2024
    Assignee: Sandbox Light Engineering Corporation
Inventors: Christopher D. Ewington, Matthew E. Ward, Jeremy Hochman

  • Patent number: 11312450
Abstract: A floatation system for a marine vessel with a starboard pontoon, a port pontoon, and a center pontoon positioned therebetween. Outer strakes each extending along an outer length between forward and aft ends, each having an outer surface at an outer angle from a horizontal plane and an inner surface at an inner angle from the horizontal plane, and each being coupled to one of the starboard pontoon and the port pontoon. Inner strakes each extending along an inner length between forward and aft ends, each having an outer surface at an outer angle from a horizontal plane and an inner surface at an inner angle from the horizontal plane, and each being coupled to the center pontoon. The outer angles of the inner strakes are greater than the outer angles of the outer strakes and the inner angles of the inner strakes are less than 90°.

  • Patent number: 10994810
Abstract: A rail system for a marine vessel having an upper deck. The rail system has a set of forward rails that encloses a portion of the upper deck, where the set of forward rails includes a front rail and folding side rails. The set of forward rails is pivotable between an up position and a down position. A plurality of floor hinges pivotally couple the folding side rails to the upper deck. The set of forward rails has an up height when in the up position and a down height when in the down position that is lower than the up height.
