Abstract: An example of a waterproof hinge and button configuration for a head mounted device is provided. A magnet may be attached to the button, and a sensor may be positioned adjacent to the button to detect movement of the button. For example, the sensor may detect when the button is fully pressed, partially pressed, or not pressed at all by the level of magnetic flux density detected by the sensor. In addition, the sensor may detect an opened or closed position of the hinge based on the magnetic field polarity of the magnet. Due to the implementation of the sensor, the electrical components of the button are able to be removed so as to make the button-hinge configuration waterproof.

Abstract: An example method includes detecting a signal that represents a strain of a frame of a wearable computing device and causing the wearable computing device to perform a function based on the detected signal. The method may also include generating a representation of the detected signal, comparing the representation of the signal to a threshold value, and causing the wearable computing device to perform a function based on the comparison to the threshold value. An example wearable computing device and an example non-transitory computer readable medium related to the example method are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: An asynchronous two-dimensional limiting cost recovery system includes an expense activity sent from a client computer to a server computer. The extracted data is sent to a central message queue, where the client computer reads the data and graphically notifies the user of unbilled expense activity. An administrator defines a quota which determines how many unbilled expense activities can exist for a given user before a mandatory billing interface is displayed regardless of how much time it took to complete those activities, or defines a maximum time duration which determines how much time a user is given before a mandatory billing interface is displayed regardless of how many expense activities were completed, or both, whichever occurs first. A “snooze” option works in conjunction with the quota and maximum time duration limitations.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method implemented within the electronic device are set forth for predictive downloading of attachments on an electronic device, comprising receiving an email having an attachment, maintaining a database of attachment historical download data, comparing information relating to the attachment to predetermined criteria derived from the attachment historical download data and in the event the information matches the criteria then downloading and saving the attachment in cache memory, and updating the database of attachment historical download data.

Abstract: The disclosed print tracking software takes the process of asynchronous print analysis currently available in the prior art in which the final print tracking events, such as billing and enforcement, occur in a nonlinear, non-sequential or non-temporal fashion, and expands on this model by achieving similar non-linearity at the front-end analysis phase by re-arranging the timing in which the printing and print analysis takes place within the print software. A print stream extraction component places print stream data from a print job in a known cache location. The print job continues to a printer while independently a software monitor component checks for new cache data and if new cache data is found, invokes an analyzer component which writes print related statistics to a data store for subsequent billing and reporting purposes.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method of cost recovery in a computerized system performs the steps of initiating a job task at a first computer, extracting job statistics relating to the initiated job task from a server, storing the job statistics in a database queue, asynchronously communicating the stored job statistics from the database queue to a first computer of a first user to whom the job task is not to be allocated, controlling communication of the job statistics from the first computer of the first user dependent on a relationship of allocation of a second user to the job task, and processing the forwarded job statistics in the computerized system by the second user to create a bill or report. In this manner, computerized cost allocations and processing of job statistics are made by cooperative relationships and actions between multiple users.

Abstract: Playground equipment may include a variety of different types of components. For example, the playground equipment may include a main structure and one or more components, such as a swing set, a climbing wall, a slide, monkey bars, picnic table, sandbox, a ladder and/or the like. The various components and structures of the playground equipment may be connected in a variety of suitable configurations and arrangements. Advantageously, if the playground equipment includes a climbing wall, the climbing wall may include one or more panels that are adjustably connected and constructed from blow-molded plastic. Additionally, if the playground equipment includes a picnic table, the picnic table top may have a surface that includes one or more generally planar portions and one or more generally offset portions. The offset portions may be sized and configured to be traced, for example, onto a sheet of paper to create a pleasing design.
