  • Patent number: 9132375
Abstract: A process for the elimination of heavy metals, in particular mercury and possibly arsenic and lead, present in a gaseous or liquid effluent by means of a fixed bed process using an adsorbent in the form of monolithic or supported extrudates, said extrudates being characterized by a length h and a section comprising at least three lobes. The adsorbent is composed of at least one active phase based on sulphur in the elemental form or in the form of a metallic sulphide. The process is advantageously applicable to the treatment of gas of industrial origin, synthesis gas, natural gas, gas phase condensates and liquid hydrocarbon feeds.

  • Patent number: 9090832
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for synthesising hydrocarbons starting from a feedstock containing synthesis gas. In the process a solid Fischer-Tropsch catalyst is employed in a three-phase reaction section operated so that the catalyst is maintained in suspension in a liquid phase by the circulation of a gaseous phase from the bottom to the top of the reaction section. The process utilizes conditions to control and maintain the homogeneity of the concentration of catalyst particles in the reaction section.

  • Publication number: 20130015406
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for deacidizing a gas feed comprising acid compounds. The gas feed is contacted in C1 with an absorbent solution so as to obtain a gaseous effluent depleted in acid compounds and an absorbent solution laden with acid compounds, the absorbent solution being selected for its property of forming two liquid phases when heated. A gaseous effluent is then released from the absorbent solution laden with acid compounds. At least part of the absorbent solution laden with acid compounds is thermally regenerated and at least a fraction of the regenerated absorbent solution is separated into a water-enriched liquid phase and a liquid phase enriched in reactive compounds. The water-enriched liquid phase is used to wash the gaseous effluent released from the absorbent solution enriched in acid compounds in order to obtain a gaseous effluent depleted in reactive compounds.

  • Publication number: 20130009101
Abstract: The method deacidifies a gas including H2S and CO2. The gas is subjected to an absorption to collect the CO2 and the H2S in an absorber, then to conversion through hydrolysis of the COS to H2S and CO2 in a reactor, and to a second absorption to collect the H2S and the CO2 formed in the reactor. The absorbent solution is regenerated in regenerator.
