  • Patent number: 11853998
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for creating a personalized barcode for an account holder at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). An embodiment operates by storing account holder unique data and a first rule for generating a personalized barcode unique to the account holder based on the account holder unique data. After receiving a request for completion of a transaction from the first account holder, placing the account holder unique data and the first rule in a pairing service. Thereafter, the ATM is configured to retrieve the account holder unique data and the first rule from the pairing service, generate the first personalized barcode based on the first rule and the account holder unique data, and present the first personalized barcode to the first account holder.

  • Patent number: 11829969
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for allowing completion of cardless ATM transactions at an ATM using a barcode that encodes an identifier for that ATM. A user of a mobile banking app may begin a transaction on their mobile device and, upon reaching a stage of the transaction where ATM access is needed (e.g., to withdraw physical cash), requests that the user visit an ATM to scan the barcode. When the mobile app scans the barcode, the ATM displaying the barcode is associated with the transaction, and completes the transaction (e.g., by dispensing cash). This barcode, while usable to identify the ATM for this purpose, also provides additional information that can be obtained by any barcode reader. This additional information may, for example, be a link to a website that provides an explanation about this service.

  • Publication number: 20230222504
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for authenticating a mobile user via an authentication method determined based on a token level associated with the action being completed. An authentication token is created corresponding to the token level and the authentication token is sent to the mobile device. This authentication token may be used to authenticate subsequent actions and engage various services to complete the actions using application programming interfaces. The authentication token stored on the mobile device obviates the need for a user to authenticate multiple times to complete actions requiring a similar token level. The system may authenticate the identity of the mobile user using various authentication methods.

  • Publication number: 20230153773
Abstract: The method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable medium embodiments described herein are directed to alerting a user of a physical pickup point. In various embodiments, a server receives a request to be completed by one or more Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) located at a first location. The server may be in communication with the ATMs at the first location and a sensor device at the first location. The server receives an alert generated by the sensor device at the first location that the user device is proximate the first location. Next, the server identifies one or more ATMs in a state to complete the request based on a parameter associated with the request. Next, the server transmits an identifier of the at least one ATM of the one or more ATMs that will be used to complete the request to the user device and instructs the at least one ATM to complete the request.

  • Publication number: 20230112415
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for remote activation of an automated teller machine (ATM) to dispense cash to a customer. The customer may stage a transaction using a mobile application on a mobile device. Upon the staged transaction being authenticated and approved, the customer may visit the ATM. The customer may capture an image being displayed on a display of the ATM using a camera of the mobile device. The captured image may be sent to an application server from the mobile device. The application server may associate the ATM with the staged transaction that is staged using the mobile application, and send instructions to the ATM to dispense cash according to the staged transaction.

  • Publication number: 20230033413
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing denomination selection capabilities to account holders withdrawing funds via a cardless ATM system. An account holder may queue an ATM withdrawal in desired monetary denominations from a mobile application running on their mobile device. The account holder may subsequently scan a QR code displayed at an ATM using the mobile application and receive the desired monetary denominations from the ATM, all without using an ATM card. Two other approaches are provided to an account holder when queueing an ATM withdrawal that includes denominations. In a denomination-driven request, the account holder selects denominations first and then receives a list of proximate ATMs that can satisfy the denomination request. In a location-driven request, the account holder selects an ATM first and then can tailor the denomination request to the denominations available in the selected ATM.

  • Publication number: 20220319170
Abstract: A processor may process a video feed of a monitored area. The processing may include attempting to decrypt the video feed using a temporally-varying digital rights management key in a state corresponding to a time at which the encrypted video feed was received and encountering a decryption error during the attempting. The processing may include comparing the video feed with an output feed from a secondary sensor to determine that at least one object is indicated in the monitored area by the output feed and not visible in the video feed. The processor may indicate a problem with the video feed. For example, the processor may indicate that the encrypted video feed has been altered prior to the receiving of the encrypted video feed due to the decryption error and/or that the video camera is malfunctioning due to the at least one object being not visible in the video feed.
