  • Patent number: 12265195
Abstract: Processes utilize collected resistivity data from an ultra-deep resistivity tool located downhole a borehole. A machine learning system (MLS) can be utilized to analyze and process the resistivity data. Directions can be generated using the resistivity data that is communicated to other systems, such as a geo-steering, an evaluation, or other borehole systems. In some aspects, a recommendation can be generated that includes subterranean formation characteristics with the directions. The recommendation can be used by a user system to approve or reject the directions prior to being communicated to a borehole system or geo-steering system. In some aspects, a confidence level can be generated with the directions or recommendation, and the confidence level can be evaluated whether it satisfies a confidence level threshold. In some aspects, when the confidence level threshold is satisfied, the directions can be automatically communicated to the geo-steering system without user review.

  • Patent number: 12204065
Abstract: The disclosure presents processes that utilize collected resistivity data, for example, from an ultra-deep resistivity tool located downhole a borehole. In some aspects, each slice of resistivity data can generate multiple distribution curves that can be overlaid offset resistivity logs. In some aspects, an analysis can be performed to identify trends in the distribution curves that can be used to identify approximate locations of subterranean formation surfaces, shoulder beds, obstacles, proximate boreholes, and other borehole and geological characteristics. As the number of distribution curves generated increase, the confidence in the analysis also increases. In some aspects, the number of distribution curves can be twenty, one hundred, one hundred and one, or other counts of distribution curves. In some aspects, the resistivity data can be used to generate two or more synchronized view perspectives of a specific location along the borehole, where each view perspective uses the same focus area.

  • Publication number: 20240165460
Abstract: A hip loading board for exercise includes linear-motion elements. The linear-motion elements include linear-motion bearing motion elements (e.g. a linear slide). One or more linear-motion elements of the hip loading board can be designed to provide free motion in one direction. Example linear slides (compound slides, dovetail slides, rack slides, ball bearing-based slides, magnetic slides, etc.) can be non-motorized dovetail slides, ball bearing slides, roller slides, etc. that provide a low-friction linear movement. The hip loading board can include one or more interchangeable resistance elements that provide a force to return a moving plate to a start position. The interchangeable resistance elements may also provide a linear resistance (e.g. any material which creates a constant resistance or tension, variable resistance or tension, etc.).

  • Patent number: 11972581
Abstract: This disclosure presents a process to determine an alignment parameter for geosteering a wellbore undergoing drilling operations. The process can receive one or more azimuthal image log data sets, one or more geology logs, and other input parameters. The image log data sets can be transformed to better approximate the geology logs, such as transforming a 3D representation to a 2D representation and flattening out curves represented in the original image log data. The geology logs or transformed image log data can then be moved to create an approximate alignment between the other log data. The movement, which can be a sliding movement, a linear movement, a tilting movement, an angling movement, or a rotating movement, can be used to determine the determined alignment parameter or final alignment parameter. The alignment parameter can be used as input into a geosteering system for the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20240093988
Abstract: A method of measuring a structure includes acquiring azimuth and tilt readings at a first location and second location. Images of the structure are also acquired from the first and second location. The respective distances from the first and second locations to a first and second point on the structure are measured. A scale is established from two positions of the structure depicted in the first or second image of the structure. The distance between the first and second points on the structure is found using the established scale. This distance is used with the azimuth and tilt readings and measured distances from the first and second location to build an epipolar model of the structure. The structure may be a utility pole. Also disclosed are methods of assisting photogrammetric measurements and estimating the class of a utility pole, and methods of determining the compliance status of a utility pole.

  • Publication number: 20240068348
Abstract: A system can display confidence values in a wellbore inversion model using a visual indicator. The system can receive downhole data relating to the wellbore from a downhole tool deployed in a wellbore of a geological formation during a wellbore operation. The system can additionally generate an inversion model of the geological formation by performing inversion processing on the downhole data. Furthermore, the system can determine confidence values for the downhole data in the inversion model. Additionally, the system can determine a depth of detection limit for the downhole data based on the confidence values. The system can output the inversion model, the depth of detection limit, and a visual indicator based on the confidence values for display at a display device for use in adjusting the wellbore operation.

  • Publication number: 20240036228
