  • Patent number: 12361811
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for monitoring vehicle riders and vehicles. The system comprises a plurality of sensors associated with a rider and an electronic device. The plurality of sensors detects at least one condition or performance of the rider and generate corresponding first set of signals. The electronic device receives first set of signals and generate a second set of signals. The second set of signals may be sent to one or more user devices for analyzing the detected at least one condition or the performance of the rider. The system further includes some of the plurality of sensors associated with a corresponding vehicle of the rider to detect at least one condition or performance of the corresponding vehicle. The system further indicates the detected at least one condition or the performance of the rider and/or the corresponding vehicle on one or more indicators.

  • Publication number: 20240237776
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a helmet for monitoring a plurality of conditions of a wearer and a method thereof. The helmet comprises an outer shell, an inner padding arrangement, a plurality of sensors, an electronic device, and one or more indicators. The plurality of sensors are configured to detect a plurality of parameters of the wearer and further configured to generate a first set of signals. The first set of signals correspond to at least one condition of the wearer. The electronic device is configured to generate a second set of signals based on the first set of signals, which are indicated by the one or more indicators. Hence, the one or more indicators are configured to indicate a detected condition of the wearer. Such indication facilitates a third person or first responders to know the condition of the wearer without any additional components.

  • Publication number: 20240148099
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a breakaway visor. The visor comprises a central portion and a side portion extending from each side of the central portion. The side portion includes a side coupling mechanism having an opening to receive a screw to couple the visor with a side part of a helmet. In event of exertion of an external force, the visor is configured to be detached from the helmet without being broken.

  • Patent number: 10525897
Abstract: A bike rack for, but not limited to, truck and vehicle beds using an over center locking mechanism actuated by a lever. The mechanism is combined with a clamping arm that, allows a bike to be secured by a single movement of the lever. The bike is secured without removing the bike's wheels. The same lever when reversed in a single movement, will quickly release the bike to be immediately removed. A slide assembly and tuning knob will allow for adjustment to fit different tire diameters. The bike rack can be attached to a vehicle using a crossbar or other means of attachment. To mount the bike, the bike's wheel is placed into the rack and the clamping arm is lowered against the tire and locked into position by the lever creating a pressure fit.

  • Publication number: 20180134228
Abstract: A bike rack for, but not limited to, truck and vehicle beds using an over center locking mechanism actuated by a lever. The mechanism is combined with a clamping arm that, once it is set to fit a wheel diameter, allows a bike to be secured or released in about 1 second by a single movement of the lever. The bike is secured without removing the bike's wheels. The same lever when reversed in a single movement, will quickly release the bike to be immediately removed. A slide assembly and tuning knob will allow for adjustment to fit common tire diameters on the market. The design implements three points of contact which will accept the front or back wheel of a bike. The points of contact are: one fixed point wheel chock, one clamping arm, and one alignment roller. The alignment roller allows the tire to rotate into the rack and fully seat against each contact point. The bike is held securely by pressure created in the 3 points of contact against the tire.

  • Patent number: 8966723
Abstract: An adjustment and fixation system can be adopted, for example, for use with a protection vest for two-wheeled vehicle drivers. The system can include: at least a set of a teethed strap (1); a plug-in device (2) of the strap; the strap (1) being composed by several teeth (4) with a quadratic form; a step in quadratic form belonging to the plug-in device (2), that due to its indenture (3), works as a lever, enabling together with the teeth (4), the blocking and/or fixing of the strap movement, enabling the protector's correct fitting. During use, it is only necessary to press the extremity (10) of the device. The system can be configured to enable a more suitable adjustment and fixation for protection vests, so that the same can be adjusted while the driver is in movement.
