Patent number: 11100991Abstract: Example subject matter disclosed herein relates to apparatuses and/or devices, and/or various methods for use therein, in which an application of an electric potential to a circuit may be initiated and subsequently changed in response to a determination that a snapback event has occurred in a circuit. For example, a circuit may comprise a memory cell that may experience a snapback event as a result of an applied electric potential. In certain example implementations, a sense circuit may be provided which is responsive to a snapback event occurring in a memory cell to generate a feed back signal to initiate a change in an electric potential applied to the memory cell.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2020Date of Patent: August 24, 2021Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventors: Jeremy Miles Hirst, Hernan A. Castro, Stephen Tang

Patent number: 10932388Abstract: A modular edge power system is provided. The modular edge power system includes a housing having a rack adapted to mount compute devices and a direct current power bus within the housing. Multiple power distribution units are adapted to be removably coupled to the direct current power bus at a position within the housing and outside of the rack. Each power distribution unit is configured to distribute electrical power received from the direct current power bus to one or more compute devices mounted in the rack. Each power distribution unit may convert the electrical power from a first power level to a second power level.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2020Date of Patent: February 23, 2021Assignee: ABB Power Electronics Inc.Inventors: Roy Davis, Jeremy Miles, Donald Rearick

Patent number: 7895240Abstract: A method for managing information is described. The method includes generating a first database in a first memory device, storing, by an administrator via a server system, a plurality of questions in the first database, where the plurality of questions relate to project information, and storing, by the administrator, a plurality of answers and a plurality of options related to the project information, where each answer corresponds to one of the plurality of questions and one of the options. The method further includes associating, by the administrator, the plurality of answers with a task by pre-defining, within the first database, the task to be performed based on the plurality of answers. The method also includes associating, by the administrator, a plurality of tools used to complete the task with the task, where the plurality of tools include at least one of templates used to manage the task, experts on the task, and frequently asked questions regarding the task.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2005Date of Patent: February 22, 2011Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Anbumani Dhayalan, Cary Michael Correia, Jeremy Miles Filiatrault, Sukhminder Singh Grewal, Neetu Agarwal

Publication number: 20110005301Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for simulating the thermal and perspiratory properties of human skin. The present invention provides an apparatus capable of being formed into any anthropometric form to emulate the thermal and perspiratory properties of an equivalent human part. The apparatus generally comprises thermally controlled, contoured, skeletal structure, typically made of metal, which can be split into any number of individually heated zones. The skeletal structure is covered with a correspondingly contoured soft synthetic polymer skin, incorporating any number of sweat zones, which is adhered to the skeletal structure. Each sweat zone is comprised of a reservoir of artificial perspiration embedded into the reverse of the skin punctured with wicking threads leading to the surface of the skin. Each sweating zone is individually dosed using a controllable pump, and a network of valves direct the sweat flow.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2009Publication date: January 13, 2011Applicant: CRAWLEY CREATURES LIMITEDInventor: Jeremy Miles Gibson-Harris
