  • Publication number: 20240284833
Abstract: A baler assembly for a cotton harvester. The baler assembly has a chassis, a front component pivotally coupled to the chassis about a front chassis axis, a gate component pivotally coupled directly to the front component about a component axis, a handler pivotally coupled to the chassis about a handler axis and configured to pivot between a raised orientation and a lowered orientation, and a cradle defined on the handler and configured to selectively receive a pin of the gate component. The baler assembly transitions from a work configuration to a transport configuration by positioning the pin in the cradle and transitioning the handler to the lowered orientation while the gate component pivots about the component axis relative to the front component.

  • Publication number: 20230397540
Abstract: An accumulator includes an enclosure, an inlet, an outlet, at least one roller, and a cotton compress assembly. The cotton compress assembly includes a first auger coupled to the enclosure. The first auger has a first shaft and a flighting attached to the first shaft. The flighting is positioned within the enclosure. The first auger compresses the cotton when the first auger rotates around a first axis.

  • Patent number: 11832556
Abstract: A baler for forming a bale of crop material includes a plurality of walls defining a bale chamber. A drive roller and a plurality of idler rollers are disposed in the bale chamber. At least one baling belt contacts the drive roller and the plurality of idler rollers. A bale engagement roller is rotatable about a bale engagement roller axis. The bale engagement roller is positioned to directly engage crop material in the bale chamber. An actuator is coupled to the bale engagement roller. The actuator translates the bale engagement roller in a direction perpendicular to the bale engagement roller axis.

  • Publication number: 20220249989
Abstract: A quick change oil filter incudes a filter canister and filter base that may be installed and removed manually from an engine adapter on an internal combustion engine. The filter canister and filter base may hold at least about one third of the required engine oil supply when removed from the engine adapter. The engine adapter includes an oil inlet passage, an oil outlet passage, and a filter base mounting cavity. A check valve is biased to close an oil outlet opening from the filter canister, trapping oil inside the filter canister when it is removed from the engine adapter.
