  • Patent number: 9431868
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a manual override tool for an electric actuator. The manual override tool includes an accessible first end, a shaft operably connected with the first end and is movable in a linear direction and is rotatable, and a plurality of gear teeth on the shaft. The accessible first end is used to engage and disengage the plurality of gear teeth with a plurality of notches provided on an interior rotor of the electric actuator, such that the accessible first end may be used to manually operate the electric actuator.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 19, 2011
Date of Patent: August 30, 2016
    Assignee: TOLOMATIC, INC.
Inventors: Gary Rosengren, Jeremy R. Forbord, Igor Glikin
  • Patent number: 9334936
Abstract: An apparatus comprises an actuator having a motor, a housing and a thrust rod, where the actuator is configured to convert rotational motion of the motor into axial motion of the thrust rod. A movable holder is coupled to the thrust rod, and configured for axial motion of a tool coupling therewith. A bearing assembly is coupled to the actuator, extending along an axis thereof. The bearing assembly is configured to engage with the bearing to provide positional stability for the movable holder and tool coupling, when positioned along the actuator axis by motion of the thrust rod.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 5, 2013
Date of Patent: May 10, 2016
    Assignee: TOLOMATIC, INC.
Inventors: Gary W. Rosengren, Ryan H. Bourgoine, Jeremy R. Forbord
