Abstract: Systems and methods for limiting functionality of a vehicle are described. In one example, vehicle feature modules may specify vehicle behaviors and vehicle operation is limited according to the specified behaviors. Vehicle actuators may be adjusted to limit vehicle operation according to the specified vehicle behaviors. The vehicle behaviors may apply to powertrain systems, navigation systems, climate control systems, lighting systems and other vehicle systems.

Abstract: An intraurethral magnetic valve having an inlet port and an outlet port, the valve including: a valve main body; a ferromagnetic ring located at least partially within the valve main body; a valve seat; and a magnetic valve element located within an internal volume defined by the valve main body and configured for movement with respect to the ferromagnetic ring, that movement being within the valve main body between a closed configuration in which fluid is inhibited from flowing from the inlet port through the outlet port and an open configuration in which fluid is permitted to flow from the inlet port through the outlet port, movement of the magnetic valve element being on exposure to a magnetic field from an external magnet member, wherein the valve seat is formed from an elastomer material.

The dishwasher appliance further includes a fluid ejection assembly, the fluid ejection assembly including an ejection head disposed within the wash chamber, the ejection head operable to eject fluid into the wash chamber. In one embodiment, the dishwasher appliance further includes a passive deflection assembly, the passive deflection assembly including a deflection unit disposed within the wash chamber for deflecting fluid from the ejection head towards the rack assembly. In another embodiment, the dishwasher appliance further includes a deflection assembly, the deflection assembly including a deflection unit disposed within the wash chamber for deflecting fluid from the ejection head towards the rack assembly, the deflection assembly further including a magnet operable to move the deflection unit.

Abstract: A keyboard practice apparatus is provided which includes a slide member, a support member, and means for supporting the slide member in juxtaposition with a keyboard of an instrument. The support member is configured to support an arm of a user and to be slidably coupled to the slide member. The apparatus is operable to allow a player of a keyboard instrument in a seated position with a forearm resting on the support member to move their forearm along a length of the keyboard by sliding the support member along a portion of a length of the slide member.

A processor (11) is responsible to the reflected UV to determine the authenticity of the banknote. The inspection device (35) includes a reference surface (3) over which the banknotes are transported in use, the reference surface being exposed to UV radiation from the source (1) in the absence of a banknote so as to generate a reference level signal, and being oriented such that the banknotes are delivered at an acute angle to the surface whereby passage of a banknote across the surface effects a cleaning action on the surface.
