  • Patent number: 12250361
Abstract: A head-mountable device can operate in concert with one or more optical assemblies thereof to provide multiple users with shared experiences and content enjoyment. Such operations can be facilitated by a connection between the head-mountable device and one or both of its optical assemblies to allow different users to receive content. Such a connection can be made possible by a communication link that directly and/or physically connects the head-mountable device and one or both of its optical assemblies when the one or both of the optical assemblies is removed from the head-mountable device for operation by a separate user. The ability to provide multiple outputs on separate components allows separate users to participate in a shared experience.

  • Patent number: 12248573
Abstract: A Ransomware Activity Detection System (RADS) characterizes historic read/write IO activity on a storage volume, and also characterizes historic data characteristics of the storage volume, such as the percentage reducibility of the data held in the storage volume. The RADS monitors the storage volume to identify differences between current read/write IO activity and historic read/write IO activity, as well as difference between current data characteristics of the storage volume and historic data characteristics of the storage volume. When the RADS detects a significant difference in read/write IO activity on a storage volume, that is coupled with a significant changes to the data characteristics of the storage volume, the RADS protects the storage volume and generates an alert of the possible occurrence of a ransomware attack. Protection may occur prior in connection with any bulk read operation to proactively protect storage volumes against ransomware attacks.

  • Patent number: 12248077
Abstract: A system and method for interference detection. The system and method receives flight data comprising a plurality of flights. The system and method identifies a plurality of signal drop events based on at least the flight data. The system and method determines one or more co-located signal drop event subsets based on at least the plurality of signal drop events and filter criteria. The system and method determines one or more interference events based on the one or more co-located signal drop event subsets, wherein each of the one or more co-located signal drop event subsets is based on at least two or more of the plurality of signal drop events.

  • Patent number: 12246812
Abstract: A stowable propulsion system for a marine vessel. A base is configured to be coupled to the marine vessel. A propulsion device is configured to propel the marine vessel in water. A shaft extends along a length axis and pivotably couples the propulsion device to the base. The propulsion device is pivotable into and between a stowed position and a deployed position, wherein pivoting the propulsion device causes the shaft to rotate about the length axis.

  • Patent number: 12247515
Abstract: Presently disclosed is a power production plant that is operable to store and generate power. In a “charge mode” (when electricity price is low), an air separation unit (ASU) cools and liquefies ambient air into liquid oxygen (LOx), which is then stored in a storage vessel. In a “discharge mode” (when electrical price is high), the stored LOx is used by the power production plant to combust a fuel and form a combustion product stream that can be expanded in a turbine to generate power. The power production plant particularly can utilize carbon dioxide as a recycled, circulating or working fluid so that substantially all carbon dioxide produced in the power production can be captured.

  • Patent number: 12250447
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to multiple operating modes to expand dynamic range. An example embodiment includes a camera system. The camera system may include a first image sensor having a first dynamic range corresponding to a first range of luminance levels in a scene. The system may also include a second image sensor having a second dynamic range corresponding to a second range of luminance levels in the scene. The camera system may further include a processor coupled to the first image sensor and the second image sensor. The processor may be configured to execute instructions to identify objects of a first type in a first image of the scene captured by the first image sensor and identify objects of a second object type in a second image of the scene captured by the second image sensor.
