  • Patent number: 12237634
Abstract: An electrical connector adapted to electrically and mechanically connect a main conductor to a bail or tap conductor includes a C-shaped frame having a curved top wall adapted to fit over a main conductor and a curved bottom wall adapted to receive a bail or tap conductor. A fastener-operated wedge assembly is carried within the frame between a conductor receiving position and a conductor clamping position. The wedge assembly has a wedge body with a primary contact surface adapted to contact the main conductor and a secondary contact surface adapted to contact the bail or tap conductor when the wedge body is moved from the conductor receiving position to the conductor clamping position. The fastener positively moves the wedge body between the positions so that the clamping action of the connector can be tightened or loosened as desired.

  • Patent number: 12237883
Abstract: A method for configuring beamforming for a network device is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method includes creating a map of an area in which a network device that supports beamforming is placed. The method shows, on an interactive display device, the network device on the map. The method shows, on the interactive display device, one or more beams emanating from the network device on the map. The method enables a user to manipulate the beams on the interactive display device to create a desired beamforming pattern that takes into account the map and receiving devices located in the area. The claimed method is advantageous in that it may enable a user to establish or modify a beamforming pattern in a more intuitive, visual way. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12236955
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques and systems for encoding instructions in audio data that, when output on a speaker of a first device in an environment, cause a second device to output content in the environment. In some instances, the audio data has a frequency that is inaudible to users in the environment. Thus, the first device is able to cause the second device to output the content without users in the environment hearing the instructions. In some instances, the first device also outputs content, and the content output by the second device is played at an offset relative to a position of the content output by the first device.

  • Patent number: 12234922
Abstract: A closure member is configured for use in a valve. These configurations may have a coating or conformal layer that may cover most, if not all, of the underlying material. This layer may include pre-propagated cracks that form due to thermal cycling prior to use in service. These pre-propagated cracks act as stress relief to accommodate for possible thermal stress that occurs due to different rates of thermal expansion between the underlying closure member and the coating. In one implementation, the layer may include a crack profile, which is engineered to direct formation of the pre-propagated cracks as well as to arrest crack development to a certain depth to maintain at least some integral layer of material over the underlying plug 118. This feature can extend service life of the plug, particularly in highly-erosive process fluids, like particle-entrained fluids commonly found in hydrocracking or refining operations.

  • Patent number: 12235991
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system for hiding conversation elements. The system accesses a conversation interface of a messaging application on a web browser and presents the conversation interface in a window associated with the web browser. The conversation interface comprises a plurality of conversation elements. The system accesses a focus status of the window and, in response to determining that the focus status indicates that the window has lost focus, obscures a first subset of the plurality of conversation elements.

  • Patent number: 12237918
Abstract: Examples described herein include systems and methods which include wireless devices and systems with examples of mixing input data with coefficient data specific to a processing mode selection. For example, a computing system with processing units may mix the input data for a transmission in a radio frequency (RF) wireless domain with the coefficient data to generate output data that is representative of the transmission being processed according to a specific processing mode selection. The processing mode selection may include a single processing mode, a multi-processing mode, or a full processing mode. The processing mode selection may be associated with an aspect of a wireless protocol. Examples of systems and methods described herein may facilitate the processing of data for 5G wireless communications in a power-efficient and time-efficient manner.

  • Publication number: 20250061216
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. In some examples, a data management system (DMS) may obtain a snapshot of an identity management system (IMS) that governs access to a set of computing objects for principals. The DMS may generate membership data structures for the principals based on the snapshot. A membership data structure for a principal may indicate one or more other principals included in the principal. The DMS may obtain access control lists (ACLs) for the set of computing objects. An ACL for a computing object may indicate access approvals, access denials, or any combination thereof for one or more associated principals. The DMS may generate mapping functions based on the ACLs. Applying a mapping function for an ACL to membership data structures for principals may yield a set of permitted users that have access to a computing object that is associated with the ACL.
