  • Publication number: 20250055823
Abstract: A method and system for identifying and displaying a messaging application user's top groups based on their activity levels are disclosed. The messaging application tracks messaging interactions initiated by a user to multiple user groups over a predetermined time period. The application assigns a score to each group based on attributes of the interactions such as type, frequency, and recency. The groups are ranked based on the scores, and a subset of top scoring groups is selected. These top groups are displayed in the messaging interface in a dedicated region, allowing quick access to recent highly-engaged groups. The top groups may be displayed alongside individual contacts identified as best friends. Users can customize graphical icons associated with each top group. The techniques rely on observed user interaction patterns to identify meaningful top groups specific to each user.

  • Publication number: 20250056392
Abstract: A network device requests, from a mobile network, a check of network slicing eligibility for a first session involving a first user, a first application, and a first application server. The network device receives, based on the check of network slicing eligibility, network slicing plan information associated with the first user and network slicing configuration information of the mobile network. The network device identifies a network slice identifier (ID) of a first network slice of the mobile network based on an identity of the first application, the network slicing plan information, and the network slicing configuration information; and sends a notification message, that includes the network slice ID, to the first application server for notifying the first application of the first network slice to use for the first session.

  • Publication number: 20250052206
Abstract: An exhaust valve includes a toroidal surface about an axis of rotation of the valve. The toroidal surface is positionable over a central exhaust port of an engine when lowered. The valve is raised by an actuator in response to increasing rotational speed of the crankshaft of the engine, thereby enlarging and raising the effective opening of the exhaust port. Lateral valve surfaces on either side of the toroidal surface close lateral exhaust ports when the valve is lowered. The lateral valve surfaces may be cylindrical and formed on fins. The position of the exhaust valve is adjusted continuously along its range of motion and the position of the exhaust valve may be calculated based on some or all of engine speed, engine loading, and exhaust temperature at a frequency up to once per revolution of the engine.
