    Abstract: A method for forming a closure for a container includes molding the closure in a mold such that a spout and a cap lie in substantially the same plane, removing the closure from the mold and folding the cap onto the spout. The closure is molded as a single integral unit that includes a spout and cap and hinge arrangement joining the spout and the cap and further includes a tamper-evident structure.
