  • Patent number: 9362525
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for contacting a device with a conductor 6, the device 1 comprising a substrate 2 with at least one cell 3, a contact region 4 and an encapsulation 5, wherein the encapsulation 5 encapsulates at least the contact region 4, the method comprising the steps of arranging the conductor 6 on the encapsulation 5, and interconnecting the conductor 6 with the contact region 4 without removing the encapsulation 5 between the conductor 6 and the contact region 4 beforehand. This invention is advantageous as the encapsulation 5 between the conductor 6 and the contact region 4 does not need to be removed beforehand anymore.

  • Patent number: 8809192
Abstract: A method for deposition of at least one electrically conducting film on a substrate, wherein the method includes the steps of: selecting a layer of a film material, wherein the layer includes a mask on a front side, and wherein the layer and the mask are one piece; positioning the front side of the layer upon the substrate; applying at least one laser pulse onto a back side of the layer, so as to melt and to vaporize at least parts of the layer such that melt droplets are propelled toward and deposited upon the substrate; and forming the film, wherein at least one slot of the mask limits the distribution of the melt droplets.

  • Patent number: 7710032
Abstract: An encapsulation structure for a display device includes a sealing structure and a stabilization layer. The sealing structure is an essentially water/oxygen impermeable film which covers environmentally sensitive parts and protrusions on the display device. The stabilization layer covers the display device, protrusions on the display and the sealing structure with a scratch resistant protective layer, resulting in a water/oxygen impermeable and scratch resistant encapsulation structure.
