  • Patent number: 10974427
Abstract: A method for producing a part consisting of a polymer material involves injection-moulding said polymer material in a mould comprising a main section for forming the part and an additional section for forming an add-on for the part. The additional section is arranged between the injection point and the main section. The part and the add-on are separated by cutting.

  • Publication number: 20180282582
Abstract: Method for adhering a first part made of plastic material (MP) and a second part, in which at least one thickness of adhesive is deposited onto at least one of said parts, and the other part is placed against the thickness of adhesive, wherein: at least one electromagnetic wave of a given wavelength is selected, such that the transmission of said plastic material (MP) in relation to this wave is not zero, and such that the absorbance of the adhesive in relation to this wave is not zero; and at least some of the adhesive is heated by irradiating it by transmitting said electromagnetic wave through said plastic material (MP) to activate and/or accelerate cross-linking of the adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20180036766
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a motor vehicle part (10) made of a plastic material, said method comprising a step of spraying a product, and the part comprising an area to be protected during the spraying. The method comprises the following steps: applying a fluid material forming a temporary masking layer on the area to be protected, said step being carried out automatically; spraying the product onto the part (10); and removing the temporary masking layer.
