The lever is provided to be pivoted in a notch of a rack designed to cover the two sides of the shell base in the tightened configuration and to bend the sides towards the sole under the pivoting action of the lever. The process includes manufacturing one or more components of the sports boot includes the following: preparing an insert that is made as an assembly of three layers, the three layers including a first layer in the form of a film of a first thermoplastic material, a second layer in the form of a decoration, and a third layer in the form an adhesive film. The process further includes opening a mold, the mold including a matrix and a core, and placing the insert into the mold adjacent one of the walls of the mold so that the thermoplastic film of the insert is positioned between the adhesive film and the aforementioned wall of the mold; closing the mold; injecting a second thermoplastic material to cover at least partially the insert; opening again the mold and extracting the component of the sports boot thus manufactured, the insert being positioned against the wall of the matrix of the mold.

The fixing system is constituted of a flexible band which, provided with woven strips on one surface, is folded over itself at one free end to form a loop that winds on a device that attaches the tongue. The invention allows the removability of the tongue, as well as its continuous adjustment longitudinally to the footwear, while guaranteeing the solid retention thereof on the front end of the latter.

The rigid element is mounted freely in a housing of the sole open across from the plantar surface of the user's foot. An adjustable assembly device, inserted in the rigid element and fixed to the sole allows achieving, for an adjustment position, the coupling of the sole to the rigid element. The invention allows modifying the stiffness of the sole, and thus adapting the general behavior of the boot depending on a specific use for which the boot is adapted at a given time.

Abstract: Rear entry alpine ski boots whose rear spoiler is latchable on the shell base. The rear spoiler includes two segments, one lower and one upper, that overlap and are journalled to each other in a zone corresponding to the journal of the ankle. Only the lower segment is journalled and latchable on the shell base and includes a vertical extension, with which a corresponding portion of the upper segment cooperates in rear-to-front flexion, in order to ensure the control of the flexion forces of the upper towards the front.
