    Abstract: In a combustor for a turbine a cover sleeve is disposed between the aft end portion of the combustor liner and a resilient seal structure to define an air flow passage therebetween. The cover sleeve has at a forward end thereof a plurality of air inlet feed holes for directing cooling air into the air flow passage. A radially outer surface of the combustor liner aft end portion defining the air flow passage includes a plurality of turbulators projecting towards but spaced from the cover sleeve and a plurality of supports extending to and engaging the cover sleeve to space the cover sleeve from the turbulators to define the air flow passage.

The brake button end is configured to slidingly couple with a brake button of the cartridge. The riser extends between the locking wedge and the brake button end. The cylindrical core defines a drive side and a top side. The annular arm is co-axially disposed exterior to and separated from the cylindrical core. Additionally, the annular arm defines a tape winding surface bisected by a center line into a top half opposite the drive side and a bottom half adjacent the drive side. The web extends from the top side of the core, and a web center connects to the annular arm at a point in the top half.

    Abstract: A tape drive system is disclosed. The tape drive system includes at least one tape reel assembly, a storage tape, and at least one pack arm assembly. The tape reel assembly includes a hub defining a tape winding surface about which is wound the storage tape. The pack arm assembly is disposed adjacent the tape reel assembly and includes a pack arm and a pin. The pack arm defines a guide defining a pivot end and has at least one flexible flange cantilevered from a side of the guide. The pin is coupled to the tape drive system. In this regard, the pack arm is slidingly coupled to the pin and configured to follow the wound storage tape by moving axially relative to the hub and radially about the pivot end.

    Abstract: A tape guide for use in a tape transport system, such as a data storage tape cartridge or a tape drive. The storage tape extends from the tape reel along a tape path that includes the tape guide. In this regard, the tape guide includes a tape contact face and at least one guide flange. Extension of the guide flange relative to the tape contact face defines an angle of not less than 90°. With this configuration, an edge of the storage tape is directed to move along the guide flange with lateral tape movement so as to minimize the opportunity for micro-buckling. In one preferred embodiment, a portion of the guide flange is curved.
