The frame comprises a first part comprising first data and a first control field and a second part comprising second data and a second control field. A relay bit commences the second part of data, the relay bit having a predetermined value. Such a frame can be used to ensure cross-compatibility in a system comprising older generation and newer generation command transmitters and older generation and newer generation command receivers.
