Patent number: 9909455Abstract: An intermediate casing comprising an inner annular hub, an outer annular barrel and an annular part for separating flows situated between the hub and the outer barrel. A primary stream is delimited between the hub and the separation part. A secondary stream is delimited between the separation part and the outer barrel. At least one hollow arm extends radially from the hub to the outer barrel, passing through the primary and secondary streams. A transmission shaft extends radially in the hollow arm. The hollow arm comprises a hydraulic-fluid outlet situated downstream of the transmission shaft. The arm further comprises a bypass channel or pocket able to bypass the transmission shaft.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2015Date of Patent: March 6, 2018Assignee: SneemaInventors: Jerome Etienne Robert Cameau, Laurent Donatien Behaghel, Kévin Michel Robert Contal, Sébastien Nicolas Juigne

Patent number: 9366150Abstract: The present disclosure aims at achieving a mounting of a turbomachine stator blading while avoiding a delicate machining process of the engine casing. It also aims at simplifying the mounting as well as at reducing the costs, and at decreasing the number of item references for the engine. To achieve these objects, the turbomachine uses an extension of the engine casing. A turbomachine comprises at least one stator blading for air or gas stream flowing on the internal engine casing. The stator blading comprises a rim which is assembled on a radial extension of engine casing with an axial fastener. In a preferred embodiment of the turbomachine, the engine casing presents an annular wall provided with fingers originating axially from this wall and extending according to a curvature so that they present a radial extension tip against the rim of the stator blading.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2012Date of Patent: June 14, 2016Assignee: SNECMAInventors: Maurice Guy Judet, Jerome Etienne Robert Cameau, Fabrice Marcel Noel Garin, Alain Paul Madec

Publication number: 20090162315Abstract: The use of classical superantigens for treatment of cancer has resulted in a low response rates and serious toxicity in humans which is attributable, in part, to the presence of preformed superantigen specific antibodies in the plasma of treated patients. The present invention addresses this problem by providing a method for treating tumors comprising the administration of one or a plurality of egc (enterotoxin gene cluster) staphylococcal enterotoxins comprising staphylococcal enterotoxins G, I, M, N, O. These superantigens in native unmodified form can be administered intrathecally, intratumorally, intravenously to humans with advanced lung cancer while resolving pleural effusions and prolonging survival to 300% above control patients treated with talc pleurodesis. Intratumoral egc superantigens induces a significant and sustained reduction of the tumor size.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2005Publication date: June 25, 2009Inventors: David S. Terman, Jerome Etienne, Francois Vaudensch, Gerard Lina, Gregory A. Bohach
