  • Patent number: 9917664
Abstract: A method for monitoring the quality of a communication channel supported by a sliding contact is provided. The method includes controlling application of a continuous electrical signal onto one of elements of the sliding contact, receiving measured values of electrical signals measured on other of the elements of the sliding contact, estimating from the measured values, a variance parameter value, comparing the variance parameter value with a threshold and, on the basis of a result of the comparison, generating a signal representative of a quality of the communication channel.

  • Publication number: 20160142162
Abstract: A method for monitoring the quality of a communication channel supported by a sliding contact, the method comprising the following steps: controlling (401) the application of a continuous electrical signal onto one of the elements of the sliding contact, receiving (402) a plurality of values (V(n)) of electrical signals measured on the other of the elements of the sliding contact, estimating (408) from said plurality of measured values, a variance parameter value, comparing (409) the variance parameter value with a threshold (THR) and, on the basis of the result of the comparison, generating a signal (CHANNEL_OK, CHANNEL_NOK) representative of the quality of the communication channel.

  • Publication number: 20070043022
Abstract: The present invention concerns morpholinyl containing benzimidazoles having inhibitory activity on the replication of the respiratory syncytial virus and having the formula a prodrug, N-oxide, addition salt, quaternary amine, metal complex or stereochemically isomeric form thereof wherein G is a direct bond or optionally substituted C1-10alkanediyl; R1 is Ar1 or a monocyclic or bicyclic heterocycle Q is R7, pyrrolidinyl substituted with R7, piperidinyl substituted with R7 or homopiperidinyl substituted with R7; one of R2a and R3a is selected from halo, optionally mono- or polysubstituted C1-6alkyl, optionally mono- or polysubstituted C2-6alkenyl, nitro, hydroxy, Ar2, N(R4aR4b) N(R4aR4b)sulfonyl, N(R4aR4b)carbonyl, C1-6alkyloxy, Ar2oxy, Ar2C1-6alkyloxy, carboxyl, C1-6alkyloxycarbonyl, or —C(=Z)Ar2; and the other one of R2a and R3a is hydrogen; in case R2a is different from hydrogen then R2b is hydrogen, C1-6alkyl or halogen and R3b is hydrogen; in case R3a is different from hydrogen then R3b is hydrogen,

  • Patent number: 6537112
Abstract: A strip (1) is described which includes a first device (5, 15) for temporarily holding a contact (2), and having a second device (26) for retaining the contact inside a tube. Provided with a clip (39) in such a manner that the contact is ready to be inserted in a receptacle of a connector. The strip allows the displacement of several grouped contacts, in a parallel arrangement on the strip. The strip is preferably displaced in coiled form, therefore having protection devices (41) to prevent the contacts from crushing over each other. Precut bridges (44) allow an easy separation of contacts surrounded by their respective clip from the strip.
