Abstract: A folding framing square comprising a body, a tongue and a body extension is disclosed. The tongue and the body extension are pivotally attached to opposite ends of the body. The tongue and the body extension may be folded into a closed position forming a small rectangular easily carryable unit. The tongue and the body extension may also be folded and locked into an open position forming an operative framing square.
