  • Patent number: 8027517
Abstract: A method for stratigraphic interpretation of a seismic image for determining a sedimentary history of an underground zone having application to petroleum exploration. The seismic reflectors of the image are digitized by means of an applied shape recognition technique. At least one attribute characteristic of the structure of the image in the vicinity of each reflector is calculated for a set of reflectors by means of an image analysis technique. This analysis is based on at least one analysis window whose shape is controlled by the associated reflector. Pertinent reflectors, in the sense of the stratigraphic interpretation, are selected from among this set of reflectors on the basis of this attribute. Finally, the sedimentary history of the underground zone is reconstructed from a stratigraphic interpretation of the reflectors thus selected.

  • Publication number: 20050223856
Abstract: A system for controlling torque related data is disclosed. The system may include one or more torque wrenches each having a first controller, and each being adapted to communicate with a second controller. Each torque wrench may further include a handle and a torquing tool. A torque sensor is disposed on each of the torque wrenches and is adapted to provide torque related data of a fastener to the first controller. The second controller is communicably coupled to the first controller and receives the torque data of the fastener.

  • Publication number: 20050223857
Abstract: A torque wrench is disclosed having torque range indicators. The torque wrench includes a handle, a torquing tool, a mounting bar and a programmable interface module. At least one torque sensor is communicatively coupled to the interface module. The interface module includes an input device able to receive at least one predetermined torque value, a torque value indicator, a torque range indicator, and a controller. The torque value indicator, the torque sensor, and the torque range indicator are communicatively coupled to the controller, and the controller is programmed to activate the torque range indicator based on a torque range calculated by comparing a torque value received from the torque sensor to the at least one predetermined torque value.
