  • Patent number: 11721941
Abstract: A backshell for connecting an overall-shielded harness including shielded cables to a connector, the backshell including a sleeve having a full toothed ring, a first external area for receiving the terminations of the shielding, and a second external area for receiving the overall-shielding of the harness, the backshell further including an attachment ring having a first internal area and arranged so that it can slide over the sleeve up to an abutment position in which it covers the first external area of the sleeve so as to cover the terminations of the shielding. This backshell is designed to make a terminated shielding harness and a connection protected against EM interference between the terminated shielding harness and a connector.

  • Patent number: 10690713
Abstract: A method of detecting an electric arc in an electrical system from a signal originating from at least one sensor detecting acoustic waves in the system, including: a) calculating by means of a processing device, over a sliding window of signal samples, at least one statistical parameter selected from the skewness and the kurtosis of the signal; b) detecting a possible occurrence of an event by taking into account said at least one statistical parameter; and c) performing a frequency analysis of the signal enabling to identify an electric arc when an event is detected at step b).

  • Patent number: 10175281
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for predicting faults in a harness formed by a plurality of cables gathered together, in particular electrical cables, comprising a protective sheath (10) intended to surround the harness, the sheath (10) comprising a plurality of braided elements (100), said braided elements (100) being braided together to form a tubular sheath, each braided element (100) comprising a plurality of longitudinal braiding strands (101) arranged to form a web, characterised in that the sheath (100) comprises at least one electrically conductive detection strand (102), said detection strand (102) being arranged with the braiding strands (101) of a braided element (100) so as to be incorporated into the web forming said braided element (100), the detection strand (102) being electrically insulated from the braiding strands (100) of said braided element (100).

  • Publication number: 20180115145
Abstract: A method for protecting a power grid from an electrical fault, the electrical fault generating a first signal type and a second signal type, the power grid including an electrical power supply and an electrical device between which a contactor is arranged, the contactor being positionable in two states an open state, for which the electrical power supply is not electrically connected to the electrical device; a closed state, for which the electrical power supply is electrically connected to the electrical device; the method including detecting a signal of the first type; placing the contactor in the open state; verifying, during a predetermined time period, whether a signal of the second type appears; if a signal of the second type appears during the period, keeping the contactor in the open state; when no signal of the second type appears during the period, placing the contactor in the closed state.

  • Patent number: 9903902
Abstract: An electrical connection member capable of detecting discontinuities in an electrical network is provided. The connection member includes a casing having at least three branches, each of the branches including, at the end of same, at least one terminal for electrical connection to a respective piece of equipment, and least one main conductor linking two terminals at the ends of two branches in the casing, at least one secondary conductor linking at least one terminal of the end of the third branch in the casing, and including an electrical coupler designed to inject an electrical test signal from the secondary conductor into the main conductor, and to transmit, to the secondary conductor, an electrical response signal generated by the reflection of the electrical test signal against a discontinuity encountered in the electrical network.
