  • Publication number: 20260164353
Abstract: Techniques are presented for improving wireless spectrum usage in Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) in the case of overlapping wireless networks. In one embodiment, the access points in the same wireless network synchronize over the Distributed System (DS) or over-the-air to decide when to schedule energizing operations in the network they serve. APs can elect a lead AP to perform the scheduling or to delegate the computation to a WPT scheduling function that can run on a separate network component that is provided with all the power requirements of Ambient Power (AMP) devices in the network. In another embodiment, APs in overlapping networks use Controlled Reserve Target Wake Time (CR-TWT) operations to define the schedule requirements for energizing functionality.

  • Publication number: 20260156450
Abstract: Described herein are devices, systems, methods, and processes for managing roaming actions in a wireless network. The embodiments utilize a machine learning model to generate roaming recommendations based on a plurality of roaming-related metrics. The metrics include data about the current network conditions, the station's previous roaming experiences, and the capabilities of potential roaming target candidates. The roaming recommendations can be provided to a station by an access point (AP). The station can then attempt to perform a roaming action based on the recommendations. After the attempt, the station transmits a roaming feedback to the AP, which includes data about the success or failure of the roaming action and any additional relevant data. In case the station rejects the roaming recommendations, the station may also provide a feedback indicating the rejection. The feedback is utilized to update the machine learning model, thereby improving the accuracy of future roaming recommendations.

  • Publication number: 20260156639
Abstract: Techniques for improved peer-to-peer communication are provided. A wireless access point (AP) may initiate peer-to-peer communication between multilink peer-to-peer devices by sending a trigger frame addressed to the peer-to-peer devices to hand over a transmission opportunity (TXOP). The trigger frame is sent based on the AP's knowledge of the availability of the peer-to-peer devices for peer-to-peer communication. The trigger frame indicates a link to be used for the peer-to-peer communication. In response to receiving the trigger frame one or more of the peer-to-peer devices acknowledge the trigger frame, tune to the assigned link, and use the remaining portion of the TXOP for peer-to-peer communication.
