    Abstract: A method is taught for offering for purchase user selected earth imagery content in the form of a photo product. The method comprises the steps of receiving earth imagery metadata from a plurality of earth imagery content providers; overlaying the earth imagery metadata on a mapping application provided by a service provider that offers earth imagery content; a user communicating over a channel with the service provider, the user locating a geographical area via the mapping application and dynamically selecting via the on-line interactive man-machine interface a desired geospatial area represented by one or more user defined polygons; converting the user-selected geospatial area represented by one or more polygons to a data string; and transmitting the data string over a channel to a fulfillment provider, the fulfillment provider generating a photo product of the desired geospatial area in a format selected by the user.

    Abstract: A method of ordering a digital image service over a communication network. The method includes the steps of: (a) at a first image system, viewing and selecting at least one digital image; (b) selecting the digital image service to be ordered and generating an image order request comprised of the at least one digital image and order information; (c) selecting a second image system, remote from the first image system, for providing the digital image service; (d) transmitting the image order request over the communication network from the first image system to the second image system; (e) at the second image system, accessing the at least one digital image and order information from the image order request; and (f) providing the requested digital image service whereby the at least one digital image is incorporated in an imaging product, processed to produce an edited digital image, stored, retrieved, or transmitted over the communication network.

    Abstract: A method of integrating photographic imaging products and services functionality with non-imaging functionality using the automatic teller machine (ATM) functions for providing financial transactions as the preferred embodiment wherein a single kiosk is disclosed. This invention provides the consumer with the flexibility to generate imaging products and conduct imaging services or perform ATM-related transactions independent of one another; to incorporate images into producing customized financial instruments at the kiosk; to access financial institution services to store or retrieve images as part of providing either imaging products/services or ATM financial instruments; and to utilize the customer's financial accounts and/or financial instruments as a means for payment of imaging products/services rendered at the kiosk.
