  • Publication number: 20230298756
Abstract: A computer implemented method for quantifying and predicting the progression of interstitial lung disease is disclosed herein. The method comprises obtaining at least one image based on a scan of at least a part of a patient's lung, segmenting the image to obtain a lung mask defining the periphery of the lung and to identify structures within the lung mask, and applying a weighting to the identified structures based on the relative position of the structures relative to the lung periphery to obtain a weighted score. The method may then comprise quantifying the extent of interstitial lung disease, and/or predicting the progression of interstitial lung disease, based on the weighted score.

  • Patent number: 8403097
Abstract: An anti-vibration assembly is disclosed including a rigid bracket fixed to a vehicle powertrain, a vehicle body and an anti-vibration mount including: a first tubular mounting member, in which the bracket is received; a second mounting member fixed to vehicle body; an elastomer body connecting the first mounting member to the second mounting member; and a rigid strap including two legs and a top. The second mounting member is fitted in the two legs of the strap in the first direction upwards and is pressed by said two legs directly on the vehicle body in said first direction. The strap further includes a bridge portion joining the two legs under the bracket.

  • Patent number: 7113064
Abstract: An active device for damping vibration comprises an actuator comprising a magnetically permeable armature and a coil associated with a magnetically permeable yoke sliding along a displacement axis under the effect of a magnetic field generated by a current conveyed by the coil. Displacement of the coil relative to the armature is generated by forces corresponding to magnetic field lines generated by the coil, concentrated in the armature and the yoke, and directed essentially through an airgap situated between the armature and the yoke.
