  • Publication number: 20230406221
Abstract: A beam and a beam storage assembly for a trailer (or other cargo compartment) can include various elements. For example, the beam storage assembly can include a first track assembly configured to attach to a first sidewall of the cargo compartment. The first track assembly can include a housing for storing the beam in a vertical orientation. In addition the beam can move from the stored state to a deployed state, in which the beam attaches to a second track assembly on the opposing second sidewall.

  • Publication number: 20220250533
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for restraining cargo in a cargo compartment. In one embodiment, the system comprises a first track sub-assembly comprising a vertical track secured to at least one horizontal support member. The at least one horizontal support member is dimensioned to span between a plurality of preexisting vertical logistics posts on a first sidewall of a cargo compartment. In one embodiment, the at least one horizontal support member comprises first and second ends, and a center point positioned halfway between the first and second ends, wherein a central longitudinal axis of the vertical track is offset from the center point of the first horizontal support member by a predetermined distance. A first beam assembly having a first end to assembly is movable along the vertical track and configured to be secured at a predetermined height.

  • Patent number: 8893381
Abstract: A method of repairing a seal wire groove is disclosed, the groove forming an annular structure having an outer surface and an inner surface and defining an original profile when new, comprising the steps of: removing a less-than-annular portion of the original profile of the groove to remove damaged portions of at least one of the inner and outer surfaces thereby forming a void; adding new material to the void; and shaping the new material to form a new profile of the groove.

  • Publication number: 20110131781
Abstract: A method of assembling a bore repair assembly for use with a wind turbine. The wind turbine includes a gearbox assembly that defines a first bearing bore and a second bearing bore coaxially aligned with the first bearing bore. The method includes coupling a first support assembly with respect to the second bearing bore. A boring bar is positioned coaxially within the first bearing bore and through the second bearing bore. The boring bar is rotatably coupled to the first support assembly. A boring bar drive assembly is coupled to the boring bar for rotating the boring bar about a central bearing axis.
