Abstract: The invention comprises a self leveling tractor which automatically levels the main frame of the tractor relative to the front and rear axles and wheels of the tractor. The tractor has a pair of axle frames beneath the underside of the main frame at the front and rear portions respectively of the tractor. The axle frames are pivotally mounted to the main frame about a common axis which extends longitudinally from the front to the rear of the tractor along the underside of the main frame. A pair of hydraulic cylinders are positioned on opposite sides of the rear of the tractor, one cylinder is pivotally connected between the main frame on one side of the rear axle frame. The other cylinder is pivotally connected between the main frame and the other side of the rear axle frame. The front and rear axles have wheels at their outer ends. The front and rear axles are fixed to the front and rear axle frames, respectively, to pivot with the axle frames.
