    Abstract: Differing thermoplastics may be joined by melt bonding a thermoplastic to one side of a resin sheet having irregular surfaces and melt bonding a different thermoplastic to the other side of the sheet. The bonds obtained are often very strong, resulting in cohesive failure of one of the thermoplastics when one attempts to pull apart the thermoplastics.
