  • Publication number: 20080277916
Abstract: A gliding board comprising a connecting means (7) of the cable or bar type extending from a point (6) of connection with the gliding board as far as a moving connecting element (8; 18; 18?; 28; 48) of an adjusting device (5) mounted on the gliding board, wherein the adjusting device (5) comprises a lever actuator (10; 20; 30; 50) acting on the moving connecting element (8; 18; 18?; 28; 48) in such a way as to move it in order to alter the tension exerted on the connecting means (7), so as to alter at least one mechanical characteristic of the gliding board, and wherein the lever actuator (10; 20; 30; 50) is such that it returns to the same position after each actuation irrespective of the position of the moving connecting element (8; 18; 18?; 28; 48).

  • Publication number: 20080029998
Abstract: A ski includes a base plate (2) and a raised, central platform (3). A front supplemental element (6a) is removably attached to a front end of the platform and has a pair of longitudinal arms (60, 61) extending forward along a top surface of the base plate. Similarly, a rear supplemental element (6b) is removably attached to the rear of the platform and has a pair of longitudinal arms (62, 63) which extend slidably along the top surface of the base plate. The supplemental elements are removably attached using a tongue (8a, 8b) and slot (9a, 9b) arrangement and a latch (10, 11, 100). A visual indicator (11, 12; 15, 16) indicates when the supplemental element is properly connected. The supplemental elements include a basic structure (600) with supplemental reinforcing elements (601) removably attached to the undersides of the longitudinal arms.

  • Patent number: 6923464
Abstract: A raising platform is intended for mounting on the upper surface (3) of a board (1) for gliding over snow in order to receive and to raise the bindings securing a user's boot to a board (1) for gliding over snow. The raising platform is divided into two longitudinal parts (9, 11).

  • Patent number: 6499759
Abstract: Alpine ski (1) which can be broken down over its length into a tip area (2), a binding area (3) and a heel area (4), in which the side line is such that the binding area (3) has a minimum width level (LP), the tip area (2) has a front maximum width level (LS), and the heel area (4) has a rear maximum width level (LT), characterized in that: the radius of the side line, calculated on the basis of three points (5, 6, 7) on the side line, respectively a first point (5) located at the front maximum width level (LS), a second point (7) located at the rear maximum width level (LT), and a third point (6) located centrally between the levels (LS, LT), is between 7 and 21 meters; the pressure distribution along the side line is such that, when the ski is placed on a flat surface (20) so that its underside (22) forms an angle (&agr;) of 45° with the flat surface (20), and when the ski receives, at the location of the center of the boot, a force (F5) of 400 Newtons perpendicularly to its underside (22), the pressu

  • Patent number: 6402182
Abstract: A ski or other board for gliding over snow has two lateral, longitudinal edges constituted by rigid, distinct elements called “sidewalls”, which comprise a multitude of discrete metallic inclusions incorporated therein and distributed in their structure, made of corrosion-proof metal of shiny appearance. Such sidewalls are made of thermosettable or thermoplastic polymer materials.
