  • Publication number: 20150347207
Abstract: Techniques for event message processing are presented. Embodiments may receive an event message from a first capability. The event message may include a header and a payload. Embodiments may then parse the header of the event message to identify a topic of the event message. Embodiments also identify a tenant identifier associated with the event message. Using the topic and the tenant identifier, embodiments may determine that a second capability is to receive the event message. Accordingly, embodiments send the event message to the second capability.

  • Publication number: 20150046167
Abstract: A method of funneling user responses in a voice portal system to determine a desired item or service includes (a) querying a user for an attribute value associated with a first particular attribute of the desired item or service; and (b) determining if the attribute value given by the user satisfies an end state. If the end state is not satisfied, steps (a) and (b) are performed with a new particular attribute.

  • Patent number: 8521585
Abstract: A method for executing a transaction related to an item or a service using a telephone includes providing information identifying the item or the service, providing a query as to a transaction to be performed in which the transaction is related to the identified item or service, and sending to a server system a request to execute the transaction related to the identified item or service in response to a user answer. The transaction is executed without the user performing a single action on a computer interface.

  • Patent number: 8131555
Abstract: A method of funneling user responses in a voice portal system to determine a desired item or service includes (a) establishing an attribute value associated with a particular attribute of a desired item or service and (b) determining if the attribute value satisfies an end state. If the end state is not satisfied, steps (a) and (b) are performed with a new particular attribute.

  • Patent number: 7290278
Abstract: An identity based service system is provided, in which an identity is created and managed for a user or principal, such that at least a portion of the identity is available to use between one or more system entities. A discovery service enables a system entity to discover a service descriptor, given a service name and a name identifier of the user, whereby system entities can find and invoke the user's other personal web services. The discovery service preferably provides a translation between a plurality of namespaces, to prevent linkable identity information over time between system entities.

  • Publication number: 20070239819
Abstract: A system and method allowing engineers to create large scale, consumer oriented, distributed applications that utilize peer to peer messaging patterns and service oriented architectures. Applications built using the method produce operational cost curves typical of successful peer to peer systems. The system includes mechanisms to deal with reliably and securely sending messages over consumer grade networks that are inherently unreliable and insecure while still permitting direct, consumer-to-consumer messaging by virtue of an extensible Network Address Translation traversal strategy. The system and method allows for the creation of consumer applications by facilitating the identification, location and assembly of services running in a network on a plurality of devices. While the application of the system and method to the distribution of large digital media is readily apparent, the system and method is, in no way, limited to this domain.
