Abstract: The window well cover and accessory for use there with includes a cover that is hingedly attached top of a window well. The window well cover includes height-adjusting means to tilt the window well to a particular orientation with respect to the window well. The window well cover includes an accessory that is secured to a top surface of the window well cover, and which provides a decorative feature to an adjacent home as well as a weighting means for maintaining the window well cover atop of the window well. The window well cover is constructed of a transparent material to enable light to penetrate down into the window well. The window well cover is capable of rotating outwardly and away from the respective home in order to provide ingress and egress with respect to the window well.
