    Abstract: An optical polishing lap is molded of a thermoplastic polymer containing a particulate-mineral-reinforced polyamide resin in a one-piece construction. The lap has a base portion which construction allows the lap to be mounted to any one of a lap cutter, a lap grinder, or a lap polishing machine, without the use of adapters.
